Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting at Robin Bledsoe Park

Leander, TX – The Leander Police Department has announced a major development in the fatal shooting that took place earlier this week at Robin Bledsoe Park. Shaunathan Raby, an 18-year-old resident of Cedar Park, has been arrested and charged with Capital Murder in connection with the death of Bodhi Allen Linman, a 26-year-old Round Rock resident.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday evening, July 29, 2025, around 7:15 p.m., in the parking lot of Robin Bledsoe Park. Leander Police officers responded immediately to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Bodhi Linman, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers quickly began administering emergency aid until Leander Fire Department personnel and EMS arrived. Linman was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Hospital, but despite all life-saving efforts, he was later pronounced deceased.

According to police, the suspect, later identified as Shaunathan Raby, fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived. Investigators launched a rapid and extensive investigation, interviewing numerous witnesses present at the park at the time of the incident and working to identify the suspect’s vehicle and movements.

Through the coordinated efforts of investigators, an arrest warrant for Capital Murder was obtained for Raby on July 30, 2025. The following day, July 31, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force successfully apprehended Raby at a residence in Austin, Texas. He was taken into custody without incident.

The Leander Police Department emphasized that the case remains an active and ongoing investigation, and additional details are being withheld at this time to preserve the integrity of the case.

Victim Identified

The victim has been identified as Bodhi Allen Linman, a 26-year-old white male from Round Rock. Friends and family have begun mourning the sudden and tragic loss, describing Linman as a kind-hearted and bright young man who was deeply loved by those around him. His death has shaken the Central Texas community, particularly those who frequent Robin Bledsoe Park — a local recreation area known for its family-friendly environment.
