In Loving Memory of Joseph Christie ,Founder, Dreamer, Warrior, Beloved Friend

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we share the passing of a beloved founder and owner, Joseph Christie.

Joseph fought a courageous and unrelenting battle against a rare and aggressive form of colon cancer, diagnosed in January of this year. In true Joe fashion, even as his body grew weaker, his spirit never dimmed. He was still asking for his favorite comforts—coffee and snoballs—right up until the very end, a testament to his unwavering love for life’s simple pleasures.

Joseph was a man of vision, grit, and endless heart. He poured every ounce of his energy and passion into building this small business from the ground up. What started as a dream became a community cornerstone because of his relentless drive, his servant’s heart, and his unshakeable belief in the power of connection. He didn’t just build a business—he built a place where people felt seen, welcomed, and loved.

To see this community embrace that dream so fully was one of Joseph’s greatest joys. He often marveled at how something so personal had become something so widely cherished. We are forever grateful for the love, loyalty, and encouragement you’ve shown—especially during these past few months.

If you find yourself with a warm cup of coffee in hand in the days ahead, we ask that you raise it in honor of Joseph. Reflect on the beautiful, fleeting nature of life. He would want you to remember this one truth: you can never get back time. So chase your dreams boldly, work with purpose, take the trips, hug your family, make the memories, and above all—love, know, and follow Jesus.

Faith was the foundation of Joseph’s life. Even in the darkest chapters of this journey, he remained steadfast in his belief that God is good and His plan is perfect. Joseph sang His praises until his final breath, confident that he was being carried by the same loving hands that now hold him in eternity. He would want each of you to know: Jesus loves you, He desires to know you, and He will carry you—just as He carried our family through this unimaginable season.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, your love, your support, and your kindness. You’ve lifted us more than you know, and we will forever be grateful.

Rest peacefully, Joseph.

Your legacy lives on in every cup poured, every dream pursued, and every soul touched by your story. We miss you dearly—and we promise to carry forward what you started with the same passion, grace, and love that you lived every day.
