FORT WORTH, Texas – A deadly incident early Sunday morning has left the Fort Worth community grieving, after Monique “AALIYAH” Mardello, 43, was found fatally injured in a vehicle on the city’s east side. A second woman was also hurt in the incident, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Officers were called to the 1700 block of East Robert Street around 1:42 a.m. following a report of a disturbance. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered Monique Mardello inside a car with multiple injuries. Medical responders quickly arrived, but sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released details on the condition or identity of the second woman involved. Police said she sustained injuries, but further information has not been made public.
