FORT WORTH, Texas – A deadly incident early Sunday morning has left the Fort Worth community grieving, after Monique “AALIYAH” Mardello, 43, was found fatally injured in a vehicle on the city’s east side. A second woman was also hurt in the incident, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

Officers were called to the 1700 block of East Robert Street around 1:42 a.m. following a report of a disturbance. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered Monique Mardello inside a car with multiple injuries. Medical responders quickly arrived, but sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
