Clinton, Maryland – August 6, 2025 — A tragic single-vehicle accident claimed the life of Adrianna Alicka, a 19-year-old woman from Hughesville, Maryland, on Wednesday night in Clinton, according to officials from the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The fatal crash occurred around 10:45 p.m. on Tippett Road, in the 11100 block, when a vehicle traveling southbound lost control and collided with a utility pole. Adrianna Alicka, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
Police report that the driver was not injured, and a second passenger was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the driver and the surviving passenger have not been publicly released at this time.
According to the initial investigation, it is still unclear what led to the driver losing control of the vehicle. Authorities are continuing their efforts to determine the cause of the crash, including whether speed, impairment, road conditions, or mechanical failure may have been contributing factors.
