UNION TOWNSHIP, OH — The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into a tragic three-vehicle crash that claimed the life of 56-year-old Lisa Bush on Saturday morning.
The collision occurred on August 9, 2025, at approximately 11:02 a.m. along State Route 73 near Mile Post 6 in Union Township, Clinton County.
According to the preliminary report, a 1998 Dodge Ram driven by 19-year-old Anton Laskowski III of Indiana was heading westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. Authorities say Laskowski lost control of his vehicle, crossing the center line into oncoming traffic and colliding head-on with a 2023 Buick Enclave driven by Lisa Bush of Maineville, Ohio.
The force of the collision was severe, and debris from the crash scattered across the roadway. A 2021 Ford F-250, operated by 76-year-old David Roeper of Florida, was traveling westbound behind Laskowski’s truck and struck debris from the initial crash, disabling his vehicle. Roeper was not injured in the incident.
Emergency personnel from Wilmington Fire and EMS arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Lisa Bush was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS personnel. Laskowski sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, Wilmington Fire and EMS, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and the Clinton County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities have not yet released details regarding any potential contributing factors, such as speed or impairment, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Do you want me to also include possible pending charges against Anton Laskowski III since he was the one who crossed the center line? That would make the article more complete from a law enforcement standpoint.
