Marion County, OH — Troopers from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are actively investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on August 10, 2025, at approximately 9:15 a.m. The incident took place on Prospect Upper Sandusky Road in Marion County, resulting in the tragic death of a local resident.
The crash involved a 2002 Ford Explorer operated by 69-year-old Darrell Carroll of Marion, Ohio. Preliminary findings from the ongoing investigation suggest that Mr. Carroll was traveling northbound on Prospect Upper Sandusky Road when he veered off the right side of the roadway.
