Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash Under Investigation on Prospect Upper Sandusky Road in Marion County

Marion County, OH — Troopers from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are actively investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on August 10, 2025, at approximately 9:15 a.m. The incident took place on Prospect Upper Sandusky Road in Marion County, resulting in the tragic death of a local resident.

The crash involved a 2002 Ford Explorer operated by 69-year-old Darrell Carroll of Marion, Ohio.
