Nicole passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, service, and love.
Born on June 15, 1984, Nicole’s life was one marked by unwavering dedication to family, a fierce commitment to education, and an enduring passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others. Raised with strong values and an open heart, Nicole brought light and joy to everyone she encountered.
Nicole was the beloved wife of Eric Weldzius, with whom she built a beautiful life rooted in love, mutual respect, and shared dreams. Together, they raised two remarkable sons, Wyatt and Emmett, who were the center of her world. Nicole’s role as a mother was one she embraced with grace and fierce devotion, always putting her children’s needs before her own and instilling in them the values of kindness, curiosity, and resilience.
Professionally, Nicole was an educator by calling and by heart. She was admired not only for her intelligence and creativity but for the profound impact she had on her students and colleagues alike. A memorial service to celebrate Nicole’s life will be announced by the family in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Nicole’s honor to a scholarship fund supporting young women pursuing careers in education—a cause Nicole deeply believed in.
