With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the untimely passing of Jayden Ty Richards, age 22, of Frankfort, Indiana. Ty passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from injuries sustained in a tragic motorcycle accident.

Born on April 30, 2003, in Lafayette, Ty grew up with an adventurous spirit and a heart full of passion for life. A proud graduate of Carroll High School, Class of 2021, he was a dedicated member of the school’s band, where he played the French horn—a reflection of his deep appreciation for music and his creative soul.

Jayden, lovingly known by many as “Ty,” was in the midst of completing his automobile mechanic apprenticeship, following his love for cars and the open road. He was an active member of Underrated Motors and 765 Motors, two local car clubs where he found community, camaraderie, and joy in customizing vehicles, especially his beloved Colorado truck.

Ty lived a life fueled by passion, curiosity, and the great outdoors. He found happiness in kayaking, boating, fishing, shooting, and traveling—always eager for new experiences and scenic adventures. Whether under the hood of a car or out on the water, he was in his element. He was also known for his love for animals, sharing a special bond with his cat Sissy, and forever cherishing the memory of his late dog and best fur friend, Bullett.

Ty’s presence was a gift to all who knew him—kind-hearted, mechanically gifted, funny, and fiercely loyal. He leaves behind a deeply grieving but incredibly proud family:

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — A devastating accident has shaken the Egg Harbor Township community after a tragic collision claimed the life of 14-year-old Clayton Miller, a local boy remembered for his bright spirit, love of biking, and dreams of a promising future. The incident occurred earlier this week on a popular bike path near Ocean Heights Avenue, sending shockwaves of grief throughout South Jersey.

The Collision

According to Egg Harbor Township Police, the fatal accident happened when a vehicle operated by 47-year-old Laryssa Foschini, a resident of Philadelphia, veered off the road and struck Clayton, who was riding his bicycle along the designated bike path. First responders arrived at the scene within minutes and rendered immediate aid. Clayton was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite the efforts of medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
