Warren County Sheriff’s Office Responds to Shooting Incident on Atlantis Way

 

On May 25, 2025, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) responded to a critical incident involving a reported shooting at a residence located in the 200 block of Atlantis Way. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male victim inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders immediately initiated life-saving efforts at the scene. Deputies began administering CPR while awaiting the arrival of advanced medical personnel. Medical Center EMS and the Plano Fire Department quickly joined the efforts to stabilize the victim. Despite these combined attempts to save his life, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim’s brother was present at the location and was taken into custody for an interview in connection with the incident. After a thorough interview, he was released, with no charges filed at this time.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office crime scene team was promptly called to assist with the investigation. They meticulously processed the scene to collect evidence and help establish the facts surrounding this tragic event.

The investigation remains active and ongoing as deputies work to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The WCSO urges anyone with information related to this incident to come forward and assist with the case.
